Rim'K

Abdelkarim Brahmi-Benalla came into the world on June 21, 1978, the child of Algerian parents living in France. There he would later perform as the rapper Rim' K. His entry into music occurred in 1994, when he co-founded the collective 113 with A.P. and Mokobe. Strong results from that project gave Rim' K the platform to pursue a solo path. The first album under his own name appeared in 2004 and included the single "Rasheed System," which paired him with singer Chaba Zahouania. On November 26, 2007, he delivered his second full-length, Famille Nombreuse (Large [or Numerous] Family), and the project reached the Top 20 in France.
