Biography
Formed in 1995, Faraualla emerged as an all-female a cappella vocal quartet based in Apulia, Southern Italy. Cristina Palmiotta, Gabriella Schiavone, Maristella Schiavone, and Teresa Vallarella comprise the group, which landed its first major opportunity in 1998 by supporting Italian artist Mango on tour. The exposure secured a recording deal with the Amiata label, resulting in the release of the ensemble’s self-titled debut album in 2001. Apart from its original work, Faraualla has joined forces with Daniel Sepe and the Theatre Bellini of Naples, among additional partners.
