Biography
Formed in Scotland amid the middle of the 1980s, the industrial dance-rock group Fini Tribe began with Chris Connelly, David Miller, Philip Pinsky, Simon McGlynn, Thomas McGregor, and John Vick in its ranks. Their initial outing arrived as the Curling & Stretching EP in 1984, followed the next year by Peel Sessions and further extended plays that included Let the Tribe Grow and I Want More. Personnel changes started in 1987 when vocalist Chris Connelly exited to launch a solo path that also featured occasional work with Ministry, leaving a core trio of keyboardist Vick, percussionist Miller, and bassist Pinsky. Operating as a three-piece, the band kept issuing singles such as "Make it Internal," "De Testimony," and "Forevergreen," together with the full-length releases Grossing 10K and Noise, Lust and Fun in 1989, An Unexpected Groovy Treat in 1993, and Sleazy Listening in 1998.
