Biography
On June 16, 1978, Lian Jingru entered the world and later took the stage name Fish Leong. This Malaysian-born singer of Chinese and Malaysian heritage, now based across Asia, built a major following in her region through pop ballads by moving millions of units and collecting numerous honors. She began her career performing covers before securing a contract with Taiwan’s Rock Records. The label issued her first album, Yi Ye Zhang Da, in 1999. Across the following decade she delivered ten further albums that posted strong sales and earned recognition at multiple Asian awards shows. Her collaborators include celebrated Chinese pop figures such as Lee Hom Wang and Ashin. In 2007 she issued the album J'adore, which met with the customary warm response.
