Foster & Allen, an Irish pair, began refining their Celtic interpretations during the mid-1970s and soon collected major accolades both abroad and on worldbeat rankings. Born and raised in Mount Temple, Ireland, Tony Allen launched his professional guitar career in 1968, while Mick Foster, a native of County Kildare, had already taken up the piano accordion in his teens. The duo’s first appearance in the United States arrived in 1996 through the single “After All These Years.” Numerous albums previously issued across Europe earned widespread praise and ultimately surpassed 18 million copies sold worldwide.
