Biography
Since their formation in the mid-2000s, Francisco the Man from Los Angeles have advanced at a measured pace, weaving together textural shoegaze, garage, and melodic indie rock. This close circle of friends—singer/guitarist Scotty Cantino, guitarist Brock Woolsey, bassist Néstor Romero, and drummer Abdeel Ortega—shifted from Riverside to Los Angeles in 2009 and entered the studio for the first time with the 2010 EP With Friends Like You. After aligning with the independent imprint Small Plates Records, they spent the next three years sharpening their approach across three additional 7" singles, finally unveiling their debut full-length Loose Ends in October 2014.
