A blazing Swedish pop-punk threesome known for threading power chords and pick slides through new wave and disco textures, Frankley Everlong first surfaced in 2009 as an unadorned punk outfit. Hailing from Kalmar in the southeast, the group unveiled its opening full-length album Songs for the Broken during 2014, unleashing a rousing surge of melody-rich, largely classic pop-punk. Seeking to reshape their approach and claim a distinctive place amid the genre, vocalist-guitarist-keyboardist Tommy Carlsson, bassist Niklas Petersson, and drummer Olof Måhlgren started folding in new wave synths alongside strutting disco rhythms, a process that led to their second studio album, the Eclipse Records release Till the Dance Do Us Part.
