Biography
Garden Variety fuses propulsive rock with emo-core vocals through the efforts of Anthony Roman on vocals and bass, Anthony Rizzo on guitar, and Joe Gorelick on drums and vocals, all of whom launched the group in Long Island, NY. Following several singles issued by Lookout!, Reservoir, and Headhunter plus an initial self-titled album, the band delivered its first substantial independent-label effort, Knocking the Skill Level, through Headhunter/Cargo.
