Ghali, the Italian rapper, fuses multiple musical styles into his catchy and memorable songs, resulting in frequent chart-topping success. Streaming platforms saw hundreds of millions of plays and views accumulate from his accessible singles and joint efforts involving figures ranging from Lacrim to Ed Sheeran. His chart successes were compiled on releases such as the 2020 album DNA, which achieved the top position in Italy.

Born in Milan during 1993 as Ghali Amdouni, he started rapping in the early 2010s. Initial performances occurred under the moniker Fobia, followed by involvement in the collective Troupe D'Elite, prior to issuing his initial mixtapes as Ghali in 2013. Significant growth in popularity commenced around 2016 via independent songs and accompanying videos, leading into his first studio album titled Album in 2017 along with the subsequent Lunga Vita a Sto issued that same year.

Records were shattered by the clip accompanying the 2018 track "Car Italia" regarding views within a single day by any Italian musician, while the number reached the summit across several rankings. As a platinum-certified artist, Ghali issued prominent team-ups featuring Stormzy, Soprano, Ed Sheeran, Lacrim, and additional performers, while his individual releases also performed strongly. His sophomore effort DNA came out in 2020 and entered at the peak of the Italian album charts. June 2021 saw the emergence of the standalone cut "Chiagne Ancora" with Liberato and J-Lord.
