Biography
Glasstown is an alternative pop/rock duo featuring vocalist Adam Klein alongside keyboardist Michael Mullen. Outside of their musical endeavors, the pair have both published books, with Klein authoring The Medicine Burns and Mullen penning Jerome: After the Pageant. Established during 1998 within San Francisco, the group promptly launched into performances that included support slots for acclaimed artists like Creeper Lagoon and Grandaddy. Additional personnel were brought aboard in the persons of guitarist Jim Sweeney, drummer Alex Laipenieks, and French horn player Glen Swarts, leading to a deal with independent imprint Bitter Stag Records for the release of their first record, Living and Forgetting, during 2001.
