George Flett produces aggressive breakcore and dubstep as Gore Tech, drawing heavy inspiration from ragga-jungle, death metal, and sci-fi/cyberpunk aesthetics. Flett launched the project in 2011 while based in Manchester, U.K., which quickly led to performances at raves and free parties throughout Europe and the Middle East. French breakcore veteran Rotator took notice and issued Gore Tech’s “Heretic” 12" on Peace Off in 2012; the same year also saw the Ruff sublabel release Warhound, a collaboration with LLamatron. Ad Noiseam put out the Machine Throne EP in March 2013, and two months later the Japanese imprint Murder Channel followed with From the Earth to the Skyscrapers. After relocating to Berlin, Germany, Gore Tech began working with established breakcore artists such as Enduser and Bong-Ra. A joint remix EP featuring Bong-Ra, Gore Tech, and metal artist Author & Punisher appeared on Enduser’s Sonicterror label in 2014. That same year Gore Tech’s metal ties deepened further with contributions to Anaal Nathrakh’s Desideratum album. Ad Noiseam then released Gore Tech’s first full-length album, Futurphobia, in 2015.
