Biography
Operating under the monikers Gramm and Farben, Jan Jelinek has delivered some of the most inviting work within electronic music’s characteristically austere domain, specifically the radical German dub movement. From his base in Berlin, he first appeared on record via three Farben singles issued by Klang Electronik between 1998 and 1999. Following a contract with David Moufang’s Source Records, Jelinek completed his debut album, Personal Rock, under the Gramm name.
