Biography
G.S. Sachdev, recognized as a master of the bansuri—an Indian bamboo flute—has maintained a deep connection to the musical heritage of northern India throughout his career. He shares a close friendship with Swami Vishnu-Devanada, who established the International Sivananda Yoga Vedenta Centers, and as a result, his performances primarily take place within the ashrams and centers of these spiritual organizations. George Harrison once remarked, "we are fortunate to have such a fine musician in our presence." Since the 1980s, Sachdev has made his home in San Rafael, CA.
