Andre Delgado operates under the apt alias Homemade Weapons as a Seattle-based drum'n'bass producer distinguished by an unmatched command of exacting, lethal breakbeats. His productions center on elaborate, forceful rhythms stripped of superfluous layers, yielding results that feel weighty, somber, and charged with tension. In tandem with a steady output of singles, he has delivered two albums on the forward-thinking Samurai Music label: Negative Space in 2016 and Gravity in 2019.

Digital releases from Delgado commenced in 2011. Samurai issued his earliest EPs in 2013—After Dark, a joint effort with Gremlinz, and Kintaro. Following Clarion Call in 2015, he unveiled his widely praised debut album Negative Space in 2016. Additional EPs appeared on Samurai and his own Weaponry imprint, among them partnerships with Red Army, while Dispatch Recordings hosted Chrysalis alongside MC Fokus in 2017. Homemade Weapons and Red Army further supplied tracks for Ohm Resistance’s 7" single subscription series in 2018. Gravity surfaced as his second album in 2019, succeeded by a remix 12" containing versions from Donato Dozzy and Tommy Four Seven, producers generally recognized for techno rather than drum'n'bass. Dust, gathering previously unreleased material, received a digital release in 2020.
