Ill Considered

Emerging onto the scene via a self-titled debut album in 2017, the jazz quartet Ill Considered entered a thriving U.K. environment through music that was largely improvised. The lineup featured Leon Brichard on bass, Idris Rahman on sax, Emre Ramazanoglu on drums, plus percussionists Satin Singh and Yahael Camara-Onono, all of whom embraced an impromptu method for both composing and playing, aligning themselves with groups such as Sons of Kemet and Yazz Ahmed to refresh the U.K. jazz landscape via a modern interpretation of the style. Between studio efforts, they put out several live recordings ahead of releasing Ill Considered 3 in 2018.
