Indica

Established in 2002, the all-female Finnish suomirock band Indica began with a teenage lineup of Johanna "Jonsu" Salomaa, Heini, Sirkku, Jenny, and Laura. Performing in Finnish, they shaped an approachable pop style laced with witchy goth rock sensibilities that attracted Sony BMG executive Jani Jalonen in 2003. Their first album for the label, Ikuinen Virta, reached stores in summer 2004 and later attained platinum certification in Finland. Tuuliset Tienoot arrived as their second release the following year, with Kadonnut Puutarha appearing as the third album in 2007.
