Biography
British singer-songwriter Isaac Gracie first drew widespread notice in 2015 through the release of “Last Words,” a brooding, lo-fi acoustic recording whose atmosphere echoed the shadowy folk-rock leanings of Jeff Buckley. Born in Ealing, West London, he displayed an early aptitude for music, performing with the Ealing Abbey Choir and penning his initial compositions by age 14. The home-recorded collection Songs from My Bedroom generated sufficient interest to secure a contract with Virgin EMI, which promptly began putting out follow-up singles including “All the Burning Lovers” and “Reverie.” Following the live EP Songs in Black and White issued toward the end of 2016, he returned the next year with the studio set The Death of You & I. In the closing months of 2017 Gracie began crafting his first full-length project alongside producer Markus Dravs, whose credits include work with Florence + the Machine and Coldplay. The self-titled album appeared in April 2018, accompanied by a tour across the United Kingdom.
