Biography
Ivy Quainoo, a singer born in Berlin in 1992, first rose to prominence after claiming victory in the debut season of The Voice of Germany. Guided by Hoss Power and Boss Burns of the BossHoss, she defeated Kim Sanders, Michael Schulte, and Max Giesinger during the February 2012 finale by delivering “Do You Like What You See,” a composition credited to Djorkaeff, Beatzarre, and Sylvia Gordon. The song appeared as a single just seven days after the broadcast and climbed to number two on the German charts. Her debut album, the self-titled Ivy, arrived the following month and opened at number five.
