Biography
Jacob's Dream, the power metal band from Columbus, Ohio, features David Taylor on vocals, James Evan on bass, Billy Queen on drums, and a guitar tandem of John Berry with Derek Eddleblute. Drawing comparisons to '80s prog-metal icons such as Dream Theater, Queensryche, and Iron Maiden, the group first assembled in 1994 under the name Iron Angel, then released a self-titled demo two years afterward that moved more than 3000 copies on its own and earned the quintet a deal with Metal Blade Records, which in turn produced their 2000 self-titled full-length and the 2001 album Theater of War.
