Jeffrey Foskett

Jeffrey Foskett, the power pop singer and songwriter, first drew attention through his role in the Pranks, a combo from the 1970s. Once that group disbanded he joined the Beach Boys’ touring band, then built an independent path by issuing the 1996 album Thru My Window. In the years that followed he turned highly productive, releasing three further albums—Thru My Window -- The Other Takes, Sunny's Off, and Cool and Gone (Gone, Gone)—in quick succession. Foskett also performed with Brian Wilson on the latter’s solo tours and on several of his albums before rejoining the Beach Boys’ touring company. Jeffrey Foskett died on December 11, 2023; he was 67.
