Biography
The Brooklyn indie outfit Jupiter One, whose name references the spacecraft from the 1960s series Lost in Space, produces angular rock laced with post-punk edges and psychedelic touches. Established in 2003, the lineup comprised K Ishibashi on vocals and guitar, Zac Colwell on keyboards, Mocha on keyboards and violin, bassist Ben Wright, and drummer Dave Heilman. Their self-titled debut arrived on Cordless in 2007. Pat Dougherty stepped in for Wright on bass ahead of the 2009 follow-up Sunshower.
