Born Anthony Henderson in Cleveland, Ohio, Krayzie Bone entered the world as a future member of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. The artist, who also performs under the names LeathaFace and The Sawed-Off Gangsta, came aboard the group in 1993. Their first recording together arrived the following year in the form of the EP Creepin on Ah Come Up. The full-length projects E 1999 Eternal in 1995 and The Art of War in 1997 propelled Bone Thugs-N-Harmony into rap superstardom, setting the stage for Krayzie Bone’s own debut album, Thug Mentality 1999, which surfaced as the 1990s ended. Inner demons and street life dominated the themes of his 2001 effort Thug on da Line. The next project, Gemini: Good vs. Evil, had been planned for 2004 but slipped into early 2005, allowing him to lay down tracks alongside fellow members Wish Bone and Bizzy Bone. In 2006 he appeared on Chamillionaire’s Grammy Award-winning single “Ridin’,” while Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s album Thug Stories that same year inaugurated an ongoing series of group releases and tours. Krayzie Bone resumed solo work in 2015 with the eOne release Chasing the Devil. Two years later he reunited with Bizzy Bone on New Waves, presented as an official Bone Thugs-N-Harmony record. During that same week in 2017 he also dropped Thug Brothers 2, a collaboration with Young Noble of the Outlawz, along with his sixth mixtape, Eternal Legend.
