Biography
Le Peuple de L'Herbe originated as a French electronica ensemble conceived by DJ Pee and DJ Stani. The project took shape in 1997, after which drummer Psychostick and trumpet player N'Zeng came aboard, allowing the collective to complete and issue its first album in 2000. Subsequent releases followed with PH Test in 2002, Cube in 2005, and Radio Blood Money in 2007. Personnel turnover marked the group's history, including DJ Stani's exit after Cube. Apart from concert appearances and recorded output, Le Peuple de L'Herbe placed two tracks on the soundtrack of the provocative film Baise-Moi.
