Beginning her musical journey in fusion and jazz-rock, New York pianist, producer, and songwriter Lesette Wilson first gained attention as a featured keyboardist on Tom Browne's Love Approach LP in 1980, particularly on the hit single "Funkin' For Jamaica." This exposure secured her a solo contract with Headfirst Records, resulting in the 1981 release of Now That I've Got Your Attention. In 1986 she joined forces with vocalist Meli'sa Morgan in the roles of writer and producer, contributing to the single "Do You Still Love Me" along with the albums Do Me Baby and Good Love. Wilson further co-wrote and produced Genobia Jeter's "All Of My Love," after which she issued the single "Look Into Tomorrow" on the Some-1 label. Additional session work included appearances on Roy Ayers's Center Of The World LP alongside Fela Anikulapo-Kuti in 1981, as well as recordings with Najee and Steven Dante. Her final project arrived via Atlantic in 1993 with the album Unmasked.
