Biography
Prior to laying down Full Isaac for spinArt in 1994, Lotion had issued just a pair of 7" singles, "Head" and "Tear," both via Kokopop. Alternative outlets throughout America and England greeted the album with enthusiastic notices. Vocalist Tony Zajkowski, guitarist Jim Ferguson, bassist Bill Ferguson, and drummer Rob Youngberg formed the lineup that traversed America and Europe alongside Pavement, Throwing Muses, and Mercury Rev, contributed a track to the Frank Sinatra tribute album Chairman of the Board, and issued the EP Juggernaut on Big Cat. Agnew's Funeral, a second EP, appeared in late 1995, preceding the early-1996 release of Nobody's Cool. The Telephone Album arrived in 1998.
