Marconi

Mexico-based romantic pop outfit Marconi unites Mexican vocalists Diego Domingo and Sergio Muñiz with Argentines Matias Bilurón and Emiliano Roqué. The quartet interprets familiar Latin ballads in both English and Spanish. Each singer had already launched a solo career when the four first converged as a trio, Bilurón completing the lineup in 2010. Roqué competed on season one of Latin American Idol and Muñiz on season two; Bilurón meanwhile issued several singles and the album Esclavo de Tu Alma while based in Cordoba, Spain. Domingo sang backing vocals on other artists’ tours and in Las Vegas productions.

The self-titled debut arrived in 2011. Chart traction on Billboard and digital platforms for the 2012 single “Me Puedes Pedir lo Que Sea,” followed by the 2013 hit “Si Hablo de Ti, Hablo de Mi,” prompted a re-release of the album.
