Biography
A vocalist in the Latin contemporary Christian music realm with roots in the Dominican Republic, Marcos Yaroide launched his professional path as one half of the duo Tercer Cielo prior to going independent in 2006. The pair, which Yaroide formed in 2000 with Juan Carlos Rodriguez, issued three studio albums—En Ti (2000), Tercer Cielo (2003), and Ahora Tengo Mas (2005)—before the split. He followed that departure with his first solo long-player, Cielos Abiertos, in 2006. Two years after that came his sophomore release, Mi Mejor Alabanza (2008), issued through Machete Music, an imprint of Universal Latino and his initial major-label project. The set contains a re-recorded rendition of “Todo Se Lo Debo a Él,” originally heard on his debut, this time alongside reggaetón artist Divino.
