Biography
Mariee Sioux, a contemporary folk singer/songwriter from California, first reached the public with her official album release in 2007 through Grass Roots Record Co. She entered the world on February 4, 1985, in Nevada City, CA, and launched her recording efforts via a run of self-released CD-Rs that included Pray Me a Shadow (2004) along with A Bundled Bundle of Bundles (2006). After committing to the area-based independent label Grass Roots Record Co., she delivered her commercial introduction that same year via the full-length album Faces in the Rocks, issued alongside the 7" single "Two Tongues at One Time."
