Biography
Having grown up in New Orleans before settling in New York City, comedian Mark Normand quickly established a presence in the local stand-up circuit with his sharp-edged material and incisive timing soon after completing his studies. Comedy Central selected him as a “Comic to Watch” for the 2011 New York Comedy Festival, and Esquire followed by naming him among its standout newcomers of 2012, an accolade Village Voice also extended the next year. He has made multiple appearances on Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer while frequently joining Amy Schumer on the road. Additional credits include Louis C.K.’s Horace and Pete, Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Last Comic Standing, and MTV’s Inside Joke. His first comedy album, Still Got It, arrived in 2014 on Comedy Central Records, with the follow-up Don’t Be Yourself issued by the same label in 2017.
