A onetime participant in the 1980s boy band Bros, vocalist Matt Goss later recast himself in the mold of a contemporary Frank Sinatra, establishing himself as a premier draw on the Las Vegas entertainment circuit.

Born in London in 1968, Goss assembled Bros alongside his twin brother Luke and Craig Logan; the trio amassed eleven Top 40 singles, earned a Brit Award, and became the youngest act ever to sell out Wembley Stadium prior to their 1992 disbandment. Three years afterward Goss issued his first solo album, The Key, which contained the Top 40-charting title track together with a rendition of Alexander O'Neal's "If You Were Here Tonight." In 1997 he partnered with Italian producer Joe T. Vanelli to create the album One, issued under the Co*Bra moniker. Following the 2003 release of his biggest solo single, "I'm Coming with Ya," he advanced to the finale of Gordon Ramsay's reality cooking series Hell's Kitchen and unveiled his second album, Early Side of Later. He next joined forces with dance outfit Minimal Chic for a pair of singles, after which he relocated to Los Angeles to focus on his American prospects.

In 2009 Goss secured management representation from Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin, financed his third LP Gossy independently, and launched a residency at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The next year he entered a three-year agreement to headline at Caesars Palace, where his Rat Pack-influenced production drew enthusiastic notices, among them the Los Angeles Times declaration that he was "the best new act in Las Vegas." Capitalizing on that residency's momentum, he returned to the studio and completed his fourth album, 2013's Life You Imagine. Goss has additionally authored poetry, an autobiography, and the children's title Bear Crimbo; supplied songs to Keri Hilson and Martine McCutcheon; and staged his solo performance for a single evening at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Amid the 2020 pandemic he rekindled his affinity for pop music and commenced work on a new record, tracking it in Los Angeles with contributors including Jacob Bunton and Babyface. Having moved back to England after three decades abroad, he issued the resulting album, The Beautiful Unknown, in February 2022.
