Biography
Having persisted as an alternative rock outfit for more than ten years, the Mega City Four disbanded during the first months of 1996. Originating in Farnborough, England during the mid-1980s, the group featured Wiz on guitar and vocals, Gerry Bryant handling bass and vocals, Danny Brown on rhythm guitar and vocals, along with Chris Jones at the drums. In addition to issuing studio albums such as Tranzophobia in 1989, Who Cares Wins in 1990, Terribly Sorry Bob in 1991, Sebastopol Rd. in 1992, Magic Bullets in 1994, and Soulscraper in 1996, they produced a live album, a collection of Peel Sessions, and numerous singles. Wiz and Bryant later joined forces once more within the band Serpico.
