Biography
At ten years old, Spanish teen pop sensation Melody—born Melodia Ruíz Gutiérrez—entered the recording industry with her first album, De Pata Negra, helmed by producer Luis Cantero, better known as El Fary. The project incorporated compositions by Adrian Benítez and Javi Cantero while spotlighting the rhumba/merengue hit single "El Baile del Gorila" and the Latin pop ballad "Besos de Cristal."
