Michael Damian

Singer and actor Michael Damian, best recognized for portraying Danny Romalotti on the highly rated soap opera The Young and the Restless, earned a Grammy nomination thanks to his involvement in the cast recording for the hit Broadway show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. His entry onto the music charts came via the track "She Did It," but it was the 1989 pop/rock single "Rock On" from the album Where Do We Go From Here that propelled him to the top of the charts. Collaborations followed, including a duet with Turkish pop sensation Pinar Alyin titled "Don't Make Me Wait" and a recording with French dance-pop singer Indra called "Reggae Life." Over ten years after his initial major success, Damian once more gained attention in the music world through the adult contemporary track "Shadows of the Night."
