Midnight Configuration

Trevor Bamford, previously a member of Every New Dead Ghost and the founder of Nightbreed Records, conceived Midnight Configuration as his central creative project. The music fuses gothic influences rooted in the 1980s and 1990s with unsettling audio fragments drawn from fetish and horror films, earning the act recognition for operating well ahead of its contemporaries and for standing as the most distinctive solo endeavor to surface within the style. Four albums have already appeared under Bamford’s independent direction, building a dedicated audience across Europe. For stage appearances and select joint efforts, guitarist Nick Hopkinson and vocalist Lisa Ross, known for her icy delivery, regularly augment the lineup. Cleopatra Records issued the retrospective collection Dark Desires, which gathers remixes of several widely circulated underground tracks.
