Blending reggaeton and Latin trap into his rap approach, Miky Woodz developed a sizable audience via YouTube and guest spots before landing a Top Ten Billboard Latin Albums entry with El OG in 2018.

A native of Puerto Rico, he built commercial traction during the mid-2010s through featured appearances alongside Farruko, Benny Benni, and Juhn. Under contract with the Miami, Florida-based Gold2 Latin Music imprint, Woodz drew wider attention with self-released singles paired to videos, among them “Alcoba [Remix],” “En Lo Oscuro Sin Perse,” and “Tarde o Temprano,” each accumulating millions of streams and YouTube plays. These tracks appeared at a regular pace between 2015 and 2017, the final year also yielding the full-length Before Famous. Further headway arrived in May 2018 with El OG. Led by the Bad Bunny collaboration “Estamos Clear,” the album opened at number six on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart.
