Mock Orange

Mock Orange draws from abrasive punk alongside heartfelt melodies, which often leads to their placement in the "emo" category. Yet the chance for four companions who grew up creating music together holds greater weight for the band than any genre label attached to their style. Formed around Ryan on guitar and vocals, Joe on guitar and vocals, Brandon on bass, and Heath on drums, Mock Orange secured a deal with Lobster Records, issued their debut full-length Nines & Sixes in 1998, and spent the balance of that year on an extensive United States tour. Record Play followed the next year.
