Monobright

In 2006 the Japanese rock band Monobright originated after its four members—Yousuke Momono (vocals, guitar), Shougo Matshshita (vocals, guitar), Hiroyuki Deguchi (bass), and Tsubasa Takitani (drums)—first encountered one another at the College of Visual Arts in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Recognition arrived swiftly thanks to the group’s bright, rhythmic sound together with its “uniform” of white polo shirts, tight black jeans, and glasses. Following a contract with DefSTAR Records, Monobright issued its debut album, Monobright One, in October 2007.
