Biography
Stijn Meuris, once a member of Noordkaap, originated the band Monza. Their debut album, Van God Los, came out in 2001. The group lineup included vocalist Meuris, bassist Bart Delacourt, guitarists Bruno Fevery and Kris Delacourt, plus drummer Dirk Loots. In 2005 Monza marked Belgium’s 175th anniversary by releasing the track “Ik Hou Van U/Je T’aime Tu Sais,” the same year their second studio album, Grand, appeared. The DVD Grand Slam! followed in 2006, and the 2008 release Attica! reached number three on the Belgian charts, landing inside the national Top Five.
