Biography
Florian Borns, known professionally as Nattyflo, is a reggae performer from Germany whose first album arrived in 2005 via Rootdown Records. His initial appearance came in 2000 through 12-Track Promo, a complete CD-R issued by the Bonn-based rap collective Die Unendlichen Gedichte under the Bass Buden Bonn imprint. During this period, Borns maintained strong ties to Nosliw, a fellow member of the group who was himself emerging as a reggae vocalist. In addition, he helped establish Riddim Magazine, an important German outlet dedicated to reggae music. After aligning with Rootdown Records, Nattyflo released his first solo effort, the 2002 EP Wochenend', which included five tracks and contributions from Nosliw on several of them. The following year saw him appear on the Rootdown Records various-artists collection Rootdown Allstars, Vol. 1, once more in the company of the ascending Nosliw, before delivering his debut long-player Immer Vorwärts in 2005.
