Biography
An Italian saxophonist of notable talent, Paolo Russo first took up the instrument at age nine under the influence of rhythm & blues and traditional jazz. Over the course of his career he has collaborated with Marco Armani, Massimo Ramieri, Tony Esposito, and Alex Damiani, among others. His debut album, Sexy Sax, appeared in 1986 on the independent label Smaf, while the follow-up release Diamons came out the next year through local imprint Flipper Music.
