Paula Hartmann fuses introspective pop sensibilities with hip-hop textures and shadowy trap undercurrents, allowing her tracks to mirror the pulse of city living and Gen-Z unease. She first entered the public eye as a child performer in motion pictures that extended into the 2010s. The year 2021 brought her initial releases, “Nie Verliebt” and “Truman Show Boot,” after which she joined Four Music; the imprint then issued her debut full-length, Nie Verliebt, in 2022. Appearances alongside artists including Casper, Haftbefehl, and Trettmann elevated her visibility. Her follow-up album, Kleine Feuer, arrived in March 2024, displaying a markedly gloomier palette than the earlier work while climbing to number two on the German charts.

Born in Berlin, Germany, during May 2001, Hartmann drew inspiration from a neighborhood boy employed as an extra, prompting her own pursuit of acting. Early credits include the television films Der Mustervater 2 - Opa Allein Zu Haus (2007) and Maren Ade’s Everyone Else (Alle Anderen, 2009), as well as Julie Delpy’s period piece The Countess (Die Gräfin, 2009) and the 2015 comedy The Manny (Die Nanny), directed by and starring Matthias Schweighöfer. Additional screen work encompassed the long-running series Tierärztin Dr. Mertens (2009-2013) and a 2019 installment of Tatort titled “Angriff auf Wache 08.”

Relocating to Hamburg in 2020, she initiated a parallel path in music, collaborating with producer Biztram (Prinz Pi, Casper) on modern pop compositions intended to reflect the lived realities and inner tensions of today’s youth. The singles “Nie Verliebt” and “Truman Show Boot” surfaced in August and October 2021, respectively, followed in November by the four-track EP Fahr uns Nach Hause once she had secured her contract with Four Music. Two further singles—“Kugeln im Lauf” and “Kein Happy End,” the latter featuring Casper—preceded the April 2022 release of her debut album, Nie Verliebt, which peaked at number 20 in Germany and drew widespread praise.

Throughout 2022 and 2023 she contributed guest verses to tracks by Haftbefehl (“Geruch von Koks”), Luciano (“Passion”), Céline (“3 Sekunden”), and Trettmann (“Gekreuzte Finger”), while maintaining her acting schedule with appearances in the series Decision Game and Almost Fly, both from 2022. March 2024 saw the arrival of her sophomore album, Kleine Feuer, extending her narratives of personal growth yet adopting a darker tone and bleaker perspective; featuring Trettmann and T-Low, the record reached number two on the German charts and entered the top ten in both Austria and Switzerland.
