Biography
Born on May 11, 1981 in Sibiu, Romania, pan flute player Petruta Küpper launched her musical path by studying the instrument with Gheorghe Zamfir at the National Music University of Bucharest. A third-place result on the 2009 edition of talent competition Das Supertalent brought her wider attention. She followed that exposure with the 2010 release of her debut solo album Panträume and captured the Echo Award for Newcomer of the Year two years later.
