Pie

Pie, a San Francisco outfit, first presented its fusion of post-punk noise and pop overlaid with electronic pulses in 1994. After circulating several demos and compilation contributions the following year, Cream Cloud Records issued the band’s initial seven-inch, “Superhorse,” in 1995. Signing with Big Top in 1996 led to the release of Pie’s debut full-length, Strictly Seance, that same year, promptly followed by the five-song EP Pie is Gone in 1997.
