Pierre Bensusan

Born in Algeria, the French guitarist Bensusan has long maintained a deep interest in his North African heritage alongside the Celtic folk traditions of western Europe. Having first gained recognition as a folk performer during the late 1970s, he went on to blend jazz and classical elements into his compositions, forging a technically brilliant and distinctive voice on the acoustic guitar.
