Pizzagirl

Liverpool-based singer/songwriter Liam Brown, known on stage as Pizzagirl, sustains a laid-back atmosphere by drawing creative fuel from soft-rock recordings of the 1980s and 1990s.

Equipped solely with guitar, vocals and a laptop, he cultivated recognition across Liverpool’s live circuit through songwriting in the vein of Mac DeMarco, while folding in vaporwave touches that set his material apart. A mid-2010s deal with Heist or Hit paved the way for the 2018 EPs An Extended Play and Season 2. Enlisting additional musicians to track the 2019 debut album First Timer reshaped the configuration of his stage performances.
