Biography
Pseudopod came together as a quartet in 1999, initially shaped by college rock influences that embraced funk, jazz fusion, and prog rock, before folding jam-based improvisations into their concert performances. Featuring Ross Grant on guitar and vocals, Brian Fox on bass and vocals, Tim McGregor behind the drums, and Matt Keegan on saxophone, the band issued its first full-length album, Rest Assured, through Bonobo Records in April 2001.
