Robot95

Mexican artist Robot95 rose to recognition through his lively blend of Latin, trap, and pop sounds. His first full-length project arrived in 2016 under the title 1995, after which he maintained a steady output that encompassed Chocolate Bianco in 2018 and the eight-track Otra Vez Pensando en Ti in 2022.

Born in Mexicali, Baja California, and known offstage as Kevin Gutiérrez, he began shaping lyrics by turning personal emotions into poems during his school years. An invitation to a friend’s studio prompted him to record his initial tracks, at which point he recognized his desire to build a career in rap. The 2016 release of 1995 introduced his fusion of trap, Latin, and rap elements to a growing listenership. In the following period he issued numerous singles alongside four albums: Bugambilias in 2017, Chocolate Bianco in 2018, Jose Ramon in 2019, and the joint effort Robot Montana alongside Bipo Montana. His approach gradually shifted toward a more pop-oriented palette, allowing tracks such as “Love & Money” and “By My Own” to accumulate substantial streaming numbers. In 2021 he partnered with BeatBoy for Siempre Arriba, folding pop and reggaeton textures into the production. Robot95 opened 2022 by unveiling the eight-track album Otra Vez Pensando en Ti.
