Biography
Sabri Khan entered the world in 1927 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, and built a long career supplying accompaniment to many of the era’s foremost vocalists, among them Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Amir Khan, Omkarnath Takhur, the Dagar Brothers, Girija Devi and Kishori Amonkar. In 1970 he also joined Ravi Shankar for the Festival of India package.
