Scribe

A New Zealand hip-hop MC known as Scribe, whose birth name is Malo Luafutu, issued his first full-length project, The Crusader, during 2003. His early work alongside P-Money led to membership in Verse Two, after which he became the initial performer to top the New Zealand charts simultaneously with both a single, “Stand Up,” and an album, the aforementioned Crusader. Issued as his follow-up effort late in 2007, Rhyme Book appeared first in Australia during September and then in New Zealand the following month; the set, distinguished by its Talib Kweli collaboration, also registered strongly on the charts.
