Biography
Small Potatoes operates as a contemporary folk duo anchored by lead vocalist Jacquie Manning, who contributes guitar, flute, and whistle, alongside Rich Prezioso, whose duties cover backing vocals, guitar, mandolin, and bodhran. Extra players are brought in for sessions whenever the material calls for it. Their range draws on traditional folk, contemporary folk, Celtic forms, country, jazz, and Western swing with equal ease. The pair delivered their first recording, Time Flies, in 1996, then followed it with Waltz of the Wallflowers in mid-2000.
